How Do I Schedule a Surgery
with My Provider?

A referral is necessary to schedule. If you have not received a referral, please contact your provider.
If you need a consultation, imaging or diagnosis from an oral surgeon, please contact our Clinic at 435-289-6600.

Provide a Referral

After you have a referral from your provider, you or your doctor’s office may call, fax, email, or utilize our website to submit information. Our staff will confirm with the patient, and schedule based on the availability of that provider.

Each referral should include the following:

– Name
– DOB
– Health History
– Insurance information
– Provider
– Specialty
– Procedure to schedule/Area of surgery
– Length of time requested
– Any special requests or accommodations

Appointment Scheduling

Your appointment will be scheduled on your provider’s pre-designated day. The time of your surgery will be arranged by the Surgical Center staff the evening prior to surgery. Patients with special needs or emergent cases will be placed with priority. This is determined by the facility the day prior to surgery.

You will receive a call the night before with pre-surgical instructions, the time to arrive, and expected cost. Please verify all other procedure related information to your referring provider. You may receive a call from our anesthesia team or a nurse to cover any medical or health history prior to your visit.

Cancelling within 24 hours of your procedure may incur a fee from the facility. At the discretion of the Surgical Center, no call, no show, or repeat cancelling within 24 hours, may not be allowed to re-schedule at the facility. All insured patients who no call or do not show are reported to insurance, which can affect coverage with government provided insurances.

Post Operation

Post Operation Instructions will be given at the time of your procedure by your provider. These are specific to each procedure.

You may receive post operative calls from the surgical center and your providers office. Follow-up questions and concerns after your procedure, should be directed to your provider. Post op visits are typically performed in your provider’s office directly, unless requested by your provider.

Insurance

At Red Rock Surgical Center, we do our best to accept every dental insurance. This includes government plans!

It is our pleasure to verify benefits and file claims on your behalf, as a courtesy. When scheduling your appointment, please have your insurance card or policy information ready. If something changes with your coverage, please let us know as soon as possible.

Since insurance companies only provide an estimate of their coverage, any portion that is unpaid will be your responsibility. If you don’t have insurance, or need some gap financing, we are happy to help you apply for CareCredit or ProceedFinance.
